Al Sabir Foundation is a non-profit, community-driven organization dedicated to the holistic development and upliftment of society. Guided by the values of compassion, knowledge, service, and responsibility, the Foundation works across multiple domains to nurture individuals and strengthen communities.

The Foundation is located in village Biur Manpur, in the Kaimur district of Bihar, India, and formally came into existence in 2007. The seeds of Al Sabir Foundation were sown long ago by visionary elders of the village who foresaw the need for structured efforts toward the educational, social, and moral growth of the community. Their vision continues to guide the Foundation’s work today.

Al Sabir Foundation works actively in the fields of education, social welfare, cultural enrichment, religious guidance, and environmental responsibility among others. Through educational initiatives, it strives to empower learners with knowledge, skills, and ethical grounding. Its social programs aim to support the underprivileged and promote dignity, inclusion, and wellbeing for all.

Currently, the Foundation runs two religious seminaries — one for boys and one for girls. These institutions do not focus solely on religious instruction, but provide holistic education by following the curriculum of the Bihar State Madarsa Board, integrating both religious and general education to prepare students for meaningful participation in society.

In addition, the Foundation manages a Musafirkhana (pilgrims’ rest house) for visitors to the shrine of the revered Sufi saint Sabir Baba. The shrine attracts people of diverse faiths and backgrounds from across India, and the Musafirkhana serves as a space of hospitality, peace, and interfaith harmony.

At its core, Al Sabir Foundation exists to serve humanity with sincerity, integrity, and excellence — nurturing positive change, preserving spiritual and cultural values, and contributing to a more just, compassionate, and sustainable society.
